Lindsay Lohan faces theft charge

Prosecutors said Tuesday they plan to charge Lindsay Lohan today with felony grand theft of a $2,500 necklace reported stolen from a jewelry store last month -- the most serious count the actress has faced in more than three years of trouble with the law.
 
Los Angeles police said Feb. 2 that Lohan, 24, was under investigation for taking a necklace from a Venice, Calif., store. Lohan's attorney, Shawn Chapman Holley, has previously denied any wrongdoing by Lohan.Former MSNBC "Countdown" host Keith Olbermann will start a nightly prime-time news show on Current, Al Gore's cable channel, later this year.
 
Current says Olbermann, who left his MSNBC job on Jan. 21 after eight years, will be bringing his "slashing wit, analytical eye, and distinctive commentary to Current Media."
 
He'll also serve as the company's chief news officer and have an equity stake in Current Media.
'Glee' brings party to Palace
 
Glee" is headed to the Palace of Auburn Hills.
 
A live cast production of the popular Fox series will play the Palace on June 13 as part of a 16-city, Chevrolet-sponsored tour that will kick off in Las Vegas.
 
A presale for American Express cardholders will begin at 10 a.m. Friday. Other tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Feb. 19 through Ticketmaster.
 
Lea Michele, Cory Monteith and Amber Riley are among the 13 cast members in the touring show, which will include some of the best-known ensemble numbers from the TV show's two seasons.
Michigander trims down on MTV
 
Sports Club of Novi trainer Jimi Varner, 37, will work it out with Flint native Kirsten Selley, 18, on tonight's "I Used to Be Fat," at 10 p.m. on MTV.
 
Cameras caught up with Varner and Selley during the summer, before the overweight teen began classes at Michigan State University.
 
"There's a lot of blood, sweat and tears," Varner says about his training sessions with Selley. "It was an amazing experience." Varner has been at the Sports Club of Novi for 11 years.

• Wayne Brady and Holly Robinson Peete ("The Talk") are lined up to host 42nd annual NAACP Image Awards. The show airs at 8 p.m. March 4 on Fox.
 
• Crystal Newman, the Redford woman from TLC's "My Strange Addiction," is to be featured Thursday on "Inside Edition." Newman, who claims she was addicted to eating the bathroom cleaner Comet, will be featured visiting Royal Oak dentist Demi Kazanis.
