NHL Dallas Stars' center Brad Richards will host "Brad Richards' Poker Stars", a celebrity fundraiser event for his charitable foundation and it's efforts to help the expansion of the cancer center at the Children's Medical Center in Dallas.
"I am excited to host this event for my foundation," said Brad Richards, who ranks 3rd in the NHL with 18 points. "I have always tried to be very active in the community wherever I have been, and I am definitely going to do the same here in Dallas, where the fans have been great to me."
Children's Medical Center is among the nation's top pediatric hospitals and houses one of the largest pediatric hematology-oncology programs in the country.
The event will be held on Tuesday, November 30, in the showroom of Park Place Rolls Royce/Bentley/Maserati. The festivities, which will include a Texas Hold 'Em tournament and silent and live auctions, begin at 6:30 p.m. A buffet dinner and beverages are also provided.
